Worried about PayPal?
Don't be! PayPal processes credit cards the way NETS processes debit cards.
However, NETS charges an exorbitant fee for their online services and we do not
agree with their rates. PayPal has excellent support and a Singapore office as well.
There is no currency conversion / hidden charges when you pay via credit card. Instead,
merchants are charged a small fee. Wine Affaire does not handle your credit card
details at all. It is done solely by PayPal.
Modes of Payment
a. Paypal
The fastest way! Most major credit cards accepted.
You are allowed to book for
more than one person, but should you choose discounted rates, ALL attendees must
show valid cards on day of event. Please refer to section below for
details.
a. Cheque
Please make it out to Wine Affaire LLP, mailing address is 21 Tanjong Pagar Road
#05-01. Include your phone number and/or email address. We will contact you upon receipt of your cheque.

NTUC Discounts
Please note that only union cards are eligible for discounts, or if
you are a paying member of
Young NTUC. There
is no age limit to our lessons, but you have to be at least 18 years old. Drop us
an email at
promotions@wineaffaire.com for additional clarifications.
Discounts are valid for the cardholder only.
Please note that attendees who indicate discounted rates when signing up will
be asked to produce your cards on day of event. Should you not be eligible, you
will be asked to pay the difference. No refunds
are given as eligibility rules are clearly stated.

As we keep having participants who indicated they would pay by cash and not turning
up, cash payees are no longer allocated seats in advance. You are welcome to join
in on a first come first served basis

Chek Wong, CSW, has been in the hospitality industry since 2004. He holds an Advanced
Certificate in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (UK).
He is also a Certified Specialist of Wine, awarded by the Society of Wine Educators
(US).
In 2009, Chek received the prestigious Bodegas Torres Wine Scholarship at the World
Gourmet Summit in recognition of his wine knowledge and tasting expertise. He will
be guest lecturing on several topics.

Introduction to Red & White Wines by Chek
Wong
Target Audience: Everyone - No prior knowledge required.
Maximum Class Size: 20
This class will introduce some of the most common red and white grape varietals.
Participants will learn about the flavour profiles of each grape, and the wine-growing
regions famous for that varietal.
A tasting of 3 red wine and 3 white wines will be served.
Non-NTUC members: $68/pax 
Young NTUC / My Art Space members: $58/pax

New World vs Old World Wines by Chek
Wong
Target Audience: Everyone - No prior knowledge required.
Maximum Class Size: 20
This class will introduce the difference between the philosophy and wine making
methods of New World and Old World wines. Participants will get to taste 4 and analyse
wines from both regions.
A tasting of 2 red wine and 2 white wines will be served.
